Adela Layug of Cainta, Calabarzon, Philippines, passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 85. She was born on September 8, 1939, and is survived by her partner, Suring, and their two children: Luz (spouse Rolan) and Susan (spouse Marcel).

Adela was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her three grandchildren. She had a passion for gardening, collecting stuffed toys and flowers, and cooking delicious meals for her family.

Adela fought a brave battle against diabetes, but ultimately succumbed to the illness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
