Acquanetta Martin, 72, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away on the evening of November 10, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Acquanetta was born on February 24, 1950, in Wilmar, Arkansas where she grew up and attended school. She was the eldest daughter of seven siblings. She later married and moved to Crossett, Arkansas where she worked as a home health aide for more than 20 years. She was a dedicated Christian and member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Crossett. Acquanetta enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life from watching her favorite television game shows to spending hours working on her crossword puzzles. Acquanetta was a devoted mother and grandmother to her daughter and grandchildren. She was known as a faithful, loving, caring, kind woman with a sweet spirit. Her life has been a blessing to her family and she will be loved, remembered, and missed.
Acquanetta is survived by her husband, Leroy Martin; Son-in-Law, Charles Lewis; her three granddaughters, Jasmine Frye, Chelsea Boylan, and Kelsea Lewis; her sisters, Gloria Cross and Dorisey Frye; and her brothers, Oscar Frye and James Frye; As well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Oscar Frye; her mother Freddie Mae Frye; her daughter Tracy Frye Lewis; her sister, Vanessa Walker, and brothers, Calvin Frye, and Boyace Franklin Frye.
Services will be held on November 19th at New Bethel Baptist Church 309 N Georgia Street, Crossett Ar at 11 am. Viewing will take place Friday, November 18th at Mitchell Memorial Funeral Home.
